Sun Lifang

Biography

Sun Lifang (孙宪 / 孙丽芳) is a Chinese screenwriter, composer, and voice actor best known for her collaboration with her son, director Xin Yumeng, on the 2026 animated feature "Niu Lai" (The Cow Is Coming). A retired educator with no prior background in film production, Sun wrote the screenplay, composed the music, and voiced all the female characters in the film. Her five-year joint effort with her son to independently produce the 3D animated movie turned "Niu Lai" into a surprising box-office success in China.
