Chinese actress Jing Tian finds herself at the center of a high-profile legal battle involving cryptocurrency billionaire Justin Sun, whose fortune is valued at approximately HK$66.5 billion. The founder of TRON has initiated civil proceedings against the actress and her family, seeking damages of RMB 200 million (roughly HK$218 million).
Actress Reportedly Sought Private Settlement
A prominent figure in the cryptocurrency world, Jack Yi, recently took to social media with claims that Jing Tian had attempted to broker a resolution. According to Yi, the actress reached out indirectly through mutual contacts hoping he could facilitate negotiations.
Yi shared his account publicly, stating: "Some time ago, Jing Tian contacted a friend, who then reached out to me, hoping that I could help mediate and communicate with Sun. After hearing what had happened, I thought it would be impossible. After all, it was Sun β how could he possibly accept taking such a loss? Nevertheless, I still tried to persuade Sun to resolve things peacefully. I didn't expect it to blow up so quickly."
