Mango TV Unveils 89 Drama Projects for 2027 at Annual Investment Conference

Mango TV and Hunan TV have unveiled a major lineup of drama projects for their 2027 content cycle, announcing 89 drama titles at the 2027 Mango Co-Creation Ecology Conference held in Zhangjiajie on September 17, 2026.

The annual event, themed “我们来了” (“We’re Here”), brought together representatives from the television and streaming industries, including production companies, investors, brand partners and media organizations.

《玉簟秋》 (Yu Dian Qiu) stars Cheng Lei and Xu Ruohan.

The two actors appeared at the conference and shared behind-the-scenes material from the production. The promotional material showed contrasting settings ranging from a prosperous restaurant in western Hunan to ruins, hinting at major changes in the characters' circumstances and relationships.

The drama uses food and everyday life as an important part of its storytelling. During the conference, Hu Ge and Li Qin introduced dishes connected with the drama, including sweet-and-sour carp, Beijing roast duck and a creative version of scallion-braised sea cucumber.

The dishes were used to illustrate how food connects the characters' personal lives, family relationships and the changing times.
